Accountant – Job at people2people, Sydney North Shore & Northern Beaches Superannaution

This is a newly created position for a competent Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper to handle all accounts to final stages for a small to medium Company based in Gordon.

After relocting to new offices and consolidated two offices into one, the need for a full time Accountant has surfaced for this successful, long established insurance brokering firm. They are seeking an autonomous and self sufficient Accountant to process all facets of accounts to final stages. The dutes include monthly management accounts, reconciling accounts, overseeing payroll to external providers, payables and all monthly BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax returns. All this on MYOB and spreadsheets as well as learning an industry specific package. You need to have an eye for detail, be analytical to resolve any discrepancies and be meticulous in your record keeping.

This is a stand alone role reporting to the Directors and working with external Chartered Accountants to ensure integrity and compliance of all accounting matters. Therefore, we are seeking someone who can work independently, has strong interpersonal skills and be able to work harmoniously within a small and diverse team of people.
