About our Client
Our client is a market leading multinational operating within the manufacturing and distribution sector. A temporary to permanent contract role awaits an experienced Accounting Manager to join the head office located in Melbourne’s inner city suburbs.
Job Description
As Accounting Manager, you will enjoy a busy and varied leadership role. Working closely with the CFO and Senior Management your duties will include;
- Lead a team of Management and Financial Accountants
- Management and review of local and group reporting
- Oversee statutory financial accounts, taxation and adherence to accounting policies and procedures
- Manage third party supplier relationships as required
- Provide support to stock and pricing initiatives
Furthermore, you will be required to provide support to a number of projects as directed by management
The Successful Applicant
Ideally CA/CPA qualified, your background includes recent experience in an Accounting or Finance Manager position. You hold strong staff management and technical accounting skills with a particular focus on reporting. Experience within a large manufacturing and/or distribution environment a strong advantage.
