Aligned with this long term strategy, is the local platform for growth that includes new product innovation and a strong marketing program. Due to this expected growth a Taxation Specialist role has been created within the Head Office, exposing the successful candidate to the CFO and CEO.

Reporting directly to the Group Tax Manager and working in a small executive team, this hands on role has the primary objective to provide taxation advice and ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax legislation impacting on the group. Complementing the tax compliance requirement will be the need to investigate all opportunities including potential acquisitions to optimise the taxation position of the group.

To be successful in this position you will need to have a clear passion for tax. Ideally you will possess a minimum of three years corporate taxation experience most likely gained within commerce or looking for your first step out of a chartered tax environment. Having an eye for detail, you will understand the complexities of tax matters within a large corporate and be keen to learn and develop tax skills outside of the compliance arena. Interpersonally you will have the maturity to combine assertiveness with diplomacy and will possess first class communication skills.
