Technical Support Engineer Job at Panasonic Avionics Coproration, Sydney
Responsibilities
1.Develop and maintain good working relationship withthe assigned customers
2.Provide technical assistance to regional Field Engineering team through analyzing data and system performance
3.Use Microsoft Excel to develop and present system performance data to the customers and internal parties
4.Primary focal for local Media loading tasks and processes
5.Analyse/ diagnose technical issues with aircraft equipment using reliability data and instruct Maintenance to carry out appropriate rectification.
6.Report issues that cannot be cleared locally to the engineering sites and/or regional/head offices as appropriate and track the issues using internal issue tracking tools
7.In cooperation with theSupervisor, develop and publish regional field engineering work instructions and training requirements.
8.Participate actively in any retrofits and/or the entry into service of new systems at theassigned customers including fly-along support
9.Work actively with the assigned customers and internal departmentsto gather reliability data for all Company’sequipment
10.Evaluate the needs of the customers at all times and work in a pro-active manner with all theinternal departments
11.Any other duties as and when assigned by the Company
Requirements
1.Diploma/ degree in Electrical engineering or relevant discipline
2.Self-motivated individual who is independent and is capable analyzing technical data from various sources and compiling trend analysis and comprehensive reports for airline customers distribution
3.Knowledge in database maintenance and development, networking (TCP/IP), software languages (C++, XML, PHP) and Linux OS
4.Advanced working skills in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic skillsto manipulate performance data and maintain analysis tools
5.Good in other Microsoft Office skills, includingPowerpoint, Outlook, Word, Visio
6.Able andwilling to travel domestic and international on very short notice. Travel may exceed 25% at times.
7. Experience working with airlines/ in an aircraft environment is preferred
