Accounts / Human Resources Officer Job at Queensland Business Machines, Brisbane
An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced, dynamic and vibrant Accounts and Human Resources officer to join our busy office in Bowen Hills.
The ideal person will have strong experience in MYOB Premier, Excel and Word, as these programs will be used daily. You will also have the ability to multi-task, prioritise your work, meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
Reporting directly to the Managing Directors, this position will cover a range of duties including:
Accounts:
- MYOB data entry
- Processing and payment of wages
- Collation and reconciliation of Monthly Debtors and Creditors
- BAS & IAS
- Constructing reports, spreadsheets and letters
- Payment of bills
- Answering phone calls
Human Resources:
- Review, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Provide HR support to senior management team and staff
- Manage occupational health and safety issues and compliance
- Manage new starters and terminations including formation of contracts, starter packs and exit interviews
- Manage any WorkCover claims and prepare annual return
- Provide accurate advice on issues of legislative compliance including interpretation of employee entitlements and industrial relations

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
Remuneration is $50,000 pa Plus superannuation
