Accountant – Retail Industry Job at Sharp And Carter, Melbourne Bayside & South Eastern Suburbs $70,000 – $80,000

With this growth comes the need for change, and a more centralised finance function is currently being implemented. With this a vacancy for an Accountant reporting into one of the Divisional Financial Controllers has been created.

Your core duties will be around the preparation of monthly management reports, assisting with annual budget preparation, monthly & year-end reconciliations as well as monthly P&L review and assisting with monthly BAS preparation.

Your success in this role will be measured by your high level of accuracy and eye for detail, as well as showing excellent commercial acumen and the ability to step up into a Divisional Financial Controller position in the next 2-4 years. Those with part or recently completed professional qualifications will be looked at favourably.
